In June 2026, UK Mountain Trike owner James summited Kilimanjaro's Gilman's Point, an enormous 5681m above sea level! James tackled this extreme challenge with the Adventurous Ewe Team and was raising money and awareness for Mental Health UK - a cause close to his heart and a charity partner of #pwcfoundation
James said it was an incredible experience and that the Mountain Trike '...is a monster chair and has taken me so much further than I could have imagined'
Prior to his challenge, we had the pleasure of meeting James Hallam at MT HQ and preparing his Mountain Trike for his upcoming Kilimanjaro climb.
We fitted a custom double push handle, made a custom steering limit mechanism, fitted a taller seat back, Tannus tyre armour, taller drive levers and larger sprockets. Followed by a final service check and test ride and James was ready for the mountain!
