Crash Tested Mountain Trike

The MT Push manual attendant wheelchair and ePush electric assist attendant wheelchair are also available as Crash Tested versions. This allows these models in our all terrain wheelchair range to be used as a seat for Occupant travel in a wheelchair accessible vehicle.

The Crash Tested Mountain Trike Chassis is certified to ISO7176-19:2022 standards.

This new crash tested chassis features brackets to secure the MT push or ePush with In-Vehicle 4 point restraint straps. The In-Vehicle occupant seat belt is used to secure the Occupant while seated in the Mountain Trike.

The crash tested model was developed following feedback from Users of the MT Push and ePush who highlighted the benefits of being able to travel seated in it in a wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV). We understand that for many people having to transfer between different seats or wheelchairs when out and about is inconvenient or uncomfortable so the crash tested capability is a great benefit. Passing the stringent crash testing gives our customers the reassurance that the Trike can withstand the high impact of a potential collision while traveling in a vehicle.

The price of £355 is a surcharge on top of the cost of an MT Push or ePush and covers the Crash Tested chassis additions. Contact us to book a FREE no obligation home demo today!
