Using your Trike

For Rambling

Rambling

The Mountain Trike loves mud and is designed for exploring the great outdoors.  Whether it be a ramble in the woods, walking the dog or an organised hike, with its unique all terrain ability and self propel levers, you can now enjoy the outdoors independently, or with friends and family  - and thanks to the unique lever drive your hands stay clean and dry in all weathers!

The Mountain Trike is so versatile that it can be used for your everyday walks or for more extreme adventures - it has been used on many occasions to help assist with mountain climbs!

It is possible to use the Mountain Trike with one hand - offering flexibility for individual needs or a free hand for keeping your dog on a lead.

Head to the park with the kids, or woodlands with friends, National Trust sites, you name it, the Mountain Trike will be able to handle it.

Case Study Mountain Trike

Megan Brooks, daughter to Richard Brooks

It’s amazing after 4 years of Dad having his Mountain Trike, walking with him on uneven and rough terrain seems so normal to us.  However, we still get people stopping us saying how wonderful and impressive his Mountain Trike is and asking about it.  Mountain Trike enables people who use a wheelchair to go all terrain outdoors: rocky paths, muddy fields, sandy beaches, steep grass banks… Everywhere!

There is also an amazing community group based in Yorkshire who run trial days and plan wheelchair friendly excursions which Dad is now involved with. I can honestly say that if you want to improve your mobility outdoors look at Mountain Trike for helping with this.
